Sheryl A. Cason

Sheryl A. Cason

Administrator of Psalms Home Care Consulting, LLC

Sheryl Cason was brought into the Psalms Home Care family by Cheryl Albert, Founder and Owner, in 2017. Her background in music, with a Master’s Degree in French Horn Performance, and 28 years in private teaching experience left her summers free with a willingness to pursue a new experience in Senior and Family Home Care. Because of Cheryl’s commitment to loving and quality personal home care, Sheryl was in the perfect environment to learn. She began as a caregiver and as Psalm’s office assistant. Over time, Sheryl became familiar with the needs of managing and organizing a home care agency. In 2019, she began training as Administrator, and after meeting the certification requirements, was designated as Administrator in 2020. She currently serves in this capacity, as well as being the Marketing Liaison for the 13 counties served by Psalms Home Care Consulting.

Marsha Smith

Marsha Smith

Alternate Administrator of Psalms Home Care Consulting, LLC

Marsha Smith is a single mom to a 20-year-old college student (wow, that went by incredibly fast!) and has worked in the health care field since 1995. Marsha started her career at the Denton State School which is now called the Denton State Supported Living Center as a direct care staff.  She moved her way up to a position in the nursing department as a secretary and enjoyed eight years there.  From Denton State School, she was led to start a career in the medical field. Marsha was offered a position in the medical record department at Denton Good Samaritan and stayed for 13 years. Soon after, she took a position in the medical record department at UBH in Denton.  She then moved on working for SpringStone as a Corporate Medical Coder for six years.

Throughout those years, Marsha took on some Home Health Aide positions as a part-time, second job for a few different home health companies. Then she joined the team at Psalms Home Care Consulting. “I truly love the patients I have been assigned and have a long-standing patient that I have been with for 3 years now. It’s nice to see the smile on his face every time I walk into his front door knowing that I have had a positive impact on his life. I just love working with geriatrics and feel that is where I belong in life.”
